What a waste of energy regret is, for when we feel it, we reject the only thing that’s real: the person we are on this very day, today.

Letting go of regret lets us off the hook and brings us back to reality: the right here, right now. It empowers us because we can actually start dealing with something both tangible and manageable: this very moment.

Full acceptance of where we are right now, no matter the circumstance, energises us because right now is real, and we can work with it.
